Diablo Shrimp

Diablo or devil in Spanish refers to the spicy kick in the tomato sauce smothering the shrimp. It is hot and spicy just like its name implies. But the sweetness of the shrimp evens the taste out to angelic delights. Santiagos takes Jumbo Gulf Shrimp sauteed in butter with chipolte, lime, shallots, garlic and cilantro, two Santiago sides and warm tortillas. I ordered rice as a side so that I could absorb the spicy succulent diablo sauce from the "shrimp boat". Truly a decadent pleasure.
