I might have made a mistake as to the sex of each kitten, but I think it's fairly accurate. It's hard to tell when they're so tiny! Each kitten weighs about 100 g when they're born, or a little more than 3 ounces. They have plenty of fur, and already sharp, long claws. They'll open their eyes after a week or so, and they'll start to hear in a few days. Isn't nature amazing?
-All kittens will have the family name "Hufflepuffs", and they'll be named after their color as in "Hufflepuffs Black XXX" or "Hufflepuffs Brown XXX". (For example, Gisele's last litter were "Hufflepuffs Black Ixion", "Hufflepuffs Brown Ida", "Hufflepuffs Brown Io", "Hufflepuffs Silver Ismene" and "Hufflepuffs Brown Ikaros".)
-The names have to start with a L.
-The names have to have a common theme (We've had greek names, romans, ducks, singers, mythological creatures, cheese, spices, precious things and Shakespeare characters. So any theme goes, really!)
-We want the names to be fairly short and something that you actually could call your cat - not a very fancy name that's just for show.
We have some ideas, but I'd love to hear yours!
